ciderlord Like a descent into a quagmire of desolence and despair. For me the words of that great songs wordsmith Fish, late of Marillion, came to mind many times, particularly his "Black Canal". That title alone says a lot about this soundtrack. Deeply satisfying. Any chance of one of your mixtape versions of this?

Karloff I just finished reading your interview in This is Darkness. I loved your quote about Dark Ambient music, "It makes me travel without moving." Profound. I subscribe to two philosophies that make up my daily routine. So many books, so little time & Music is the Best. The latter is borrowed from one of my musical heroes, Frank Zappa. Dark ambient is my go to soundtrack for reading. Thank you for aiding my "Travels without moving." 😎

Merci Déhà for the download code. Lots of bands use these ingredients – pretty female vocals over doomy guitars always sounds good, but usually that's where the ideas run out. That isn't the case here. Each song is packed with ideas and evolutions, genres and references it's boring to list but not at all to listen to. A pleasure to have been introduced to this. Luke
